Woca Worktop Oil is designed to protect and enhance new or previously oiled kitchen worktops, tabletops and interior wooden surfaces.
It is available in two versions, Natural and White, it penetrates in to the surface and leaves your worktop nourished, protected and highly water resistant.
Woca Worktop Oil Natural will darken the wood a little, bringing out its natural beauty and is particularly suitable for use on darker woods like Teak, Cherry, Mahogany, Merbeu and many more.
The Woca Worktop Oil in White is based on the Natural Oil but also contains a small amount of white pigment. This minimises the natural darkening of the wood, keeping it light in colour and is particularly suitable for use on Oak, Beech, Birch, Ash and Pine.
The short Woca 'How to' VIDEO below shows how easy it is to achieve a beautiful long lasting finish with Woca Worktop Oil.

On new wood; sand with P180 grit sandpaper, this will open the pores of the wood a little to enable the oil to penetrate deeply, then thoroughly remove any dust with a Lint Free cloth and White Spirits or our recommendation would be to use Liberon Tack Cloths and allow to dry. Alternatively use the WOCA Intensive Cleaner as below.
On previously oiled surfaces; clean and remove any surface coating of oil with Woca Intensive Wood Cleaner and a WOCA Lint Free Polishing Cloth and allow to dry for 6-8 hours.
Application: After stirring the oil thoroughly, apply with a good quality brush such as the Mako Premium Brush, leave for 20 minutes for the oil to soak in then remove any excess with a clean WOCA Lint Free Cloth. Next, polish the surface and work the oil in with the Woca White Hand Pad, this ensures maximum protection and the hardest wearing finish.
On very absorbent surfaces this treatment can be repeated if required. Avoid the surface getting wet during the first 24 hours whilst the oil fully hardens.
Maintenance: For daily or weekly cleaning use Woca Natural Soap Spray to remove grease or dirt without damaging the oil protection. For maximum protection reapply Woca Worktop Oil or Worktop Gel three or four times a year or as often as required to maintain a beautiful looking and protected surface.
