Rustins Exterior Wood Oil is a water-bourne, quick drying blend of natural plant oils and unique ingredients to protect and enhance both exterior and interior solid wood and veneer.
It is a penetrating oil which dries to leave a water resistant hardwearing finish and contains additional UV filters to protect against sunlight damage.
Rustins Exterior Wood Oil is low odour and suitable for use on soft and hardwood, it will bring out the natural colour and beauty of the timber. When dry it is suitable for food contact areas.

Rustins Exterior Wood Oil
Preparation: Ensure the wood is clean and dry before application, removing any grease or wax by cleaning with a nylon pad and White Spirits. If required, bare wood can be stained with Rustins Wood Dye prior to application of Exterior Wood Oil.
Application: Apply liberally with a good quality brush such as the Mako Woodcare Brush or clean rag, and allow to dry. Second coat, apply as above but wipe off any excess after a few minutes. Any raised grain or nibs can be removed by applying the final coat with a nylon pad such as the Mirka Mirlon, rubbing in the direction of the grain then removing any excess with a clean cloth.
Maintenance: Reapply annually, horizontal surfaces may require additional application.
Coats: 3, softwood may require more.
Drying Time: 2-3 hours
Recoat: Allow 4 hours
