Ronseal Teak Oil:
Remove all previous coatings such as paint, varnish and woodstain. Lightly sand the surface followed by wiping over with a cloth and white spirits to remove any trace of dust, dirt or grease. Test for compatibility and an indication of the final colour on a small inconspicuous area.
If your furniture has weathered badly and is dull and discoloured, pre-coating with Ronseal Garden Furniture Reviver may be required.
1. Ensure surface is dry and clean.
2. Apply liberally using a soft, dry and lint free cloth.
3. Work lightly into grain. Wipe off any excess.
4. Re-apply as necessary once the previous coat has dried.
5. Three coats will provide adequate protection. Leave to dry overnight between coats.
Maintain regularly with a further coat of Ronseal Teak Oil to ensure lasting protection.
Drying Times: Touch dry in 6 hours
