Renaissance Wax Polish is the finest glass-clear wax polish available!

It is recommended by museums, art galleries and conservators throughout the world.

Renaissance wax will gently lift the grime of antiquity and murky deposits of other polishes, leaving surfaces delightful to see and touch.

Its transparency allows unlimited applications and the polish never stains or discolours.

For deeper cleaning and preparation of tarnished surface, use Renaissance Pre-Lim Surface Cleaner prior to Renaissance Wax Polish. Renaissance Wax can be used on any solid surface such as wooden furniture, metals, marble, onyx, shell, stone, ivory, plastics and leather.

The hardness of the matured wax coating gives excellent protection against normal spillages, finger marks, etc.

Please also see Renaissance Pre-Lim Surface Cleaner for more information and our Wax Polishes section for a full range of alternative polishes from leading manufacturers.

Renaissance Wax Polish - all sizes:

Renaissance Wax is manufactured by Picreator of London in a special seamless aluminium 200ml container, insuring the wax will remain in perfect condition long after other polishes have hardened and become useless.

Available in: 65ml, 200ml and 3 litre cans, for professional economical large project use.

Renaissance Wax is also used by re-enactors of historic swordsmanship to protect armour and weapons. It is widely recognised that this substance is more protective and longer lasting than oil, especially for swords and helmets that are frequently touched by human hands.

It is also commonly used in the preservation of Bronze and Copper coins. The wax seals the coins and helps prevent deterioration from moisture and air exposure. It may also help prevent the onset of the chloride-related corrosion commonly called bronze disease, although it won't arrest this once started.

Application: Renaissance Wax is evenly and lightly applied over the surface, then lightly buffed with fine stockinette cloth to give a sheen. Alternatively where the shape of the item requires, a brush may be used.
