Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid 3232 Satin is a quicker drying version of the original Osmo Polyx hard wax oil.
It penetrates deep into the wood, leaving a natural micro porous lightly waxed finish that is hard wearing, water resistant and will bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
The excellent VIDEOS above show the benefits of Osmo Polyx Oil over other floor finishes and Osmo's Polyx Oil Application Guide.
For Bathrooms and Kitchens to give higher water resistance, a basecoat of Osmo Wood Protector 4006 is recommended.
For exotic hardwoods we would recommend Osmo Wood Wax Finish Extra Thin 1101.

Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid 3232 Satin:
Osmo 3232 Satin will give a soft satin appearance that emphasises the wood grain slightly. Polyx Rapid is recommended for internal joinery, furniture and wooden floors including new or reclaimed, parquet or block flooring.
Preparation: The wooden surface must be clean and dry before applying Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid. Remove any previous floor varnish by sanding with P100 - P150 grit abrasives or P180 - P240 grit on furniture; fill any small imperfections with a good quality filler, larger cracks can be filled by mixing the saw-dust with a Joint Gel filler, before vacuuming to remove all dust.
Application: Test in an inconspicuous area to confirm suitability and the final colour. A few drops of water onto the bare wood will give an indication to the colour the oil will bring out in the wood. Apply Osmo Polyx Rapid hard wax oil thinly and evenly with a good quality brush such as Mako 5* Pro Woodcare Brush or for larger areas Osmo 220mm Floor Brush or Microfibre Roller and spread well. Two coats will be required, apply a second coat after 4-5 hours as per the first.
Cleaning: Osmo Wash and Care should be used for general cleaning of Polyx rapid treated floors. It is a water soluble concentrate designed specifically for cleaning oiled and waxed floors, without drying out the wood or removing the finish.
Coverage: 24-30 SqMtrs/ litre per coat
Drying Time: 4-5 hours
Clean equipment with: White Sprits
If a higher sheen level is required or the floor needs refreshing or reviving after hard use, Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner is also available.
Storage: upto 5 years when protected from frost
Also available: Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid 3262 Matt.
