Mylands Shellac Barrier Seal is a quick drying primer barrier seal for wooden floors. It is suitable for use on both new and reclaimed wooden floors, stopping any residue or contamination in the timber affecting the finished floor coating.
Mylands Shellac Barrier Seal can be used under a wide range of floor finishes including Hardwax flooring oils and water-based floor lacquers or varnishes.
When used prior to apply a waterbased floor varnish, Mylands Barrier Seal brings out the natural colour and beauty of the wood, without raising the grain and roughening the surface.
In low traffic areas Mylands Barrier Seal can be used to seal prior to waxing with a good floor wax like Jenkins Floor Wax
