Liberon Iron Paste is a black graphite paste used to protect and enhance cast and wrought ironwork such as fire grates, surrounds and irons. It reduces the possibility of rusting and can be buffed to a high sheen level if required.
Liberon Iron Paste can be used to good decorative effect on sculptured or detailed pieces, when used to highlight and polish raised areas and create contrast.
Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from rust. If rust exists first use Liberon Rust Remover.
Application: Liberon Iron Paste should be applied sparingly using a brush or cloth. Allow the Iron Paste to dry for a minimum of 4 hours before buffing with a clean cloth, shoe brush or similar.
Safety: Always use good disposable gloves or rubber gloves when applying.
Coverage: 250ml will treat upto 6-7 small fireplaces.

Liberon Iron Paste is not suitable for use on wood burning stoves; use Stovax Black Grate Polish or Rustins High Heat Black Paint for this application.
