Liberon Button Shellac Flakes:
Directions: Add 250g of Button Shellac per 1 litre of either Fiddes clear Finishing Spirits or Methylated Spirits and allow the shellac to soak and dissolve for a minimum of 24 hours. Occasionally stir the mixture to help the Shellac dissolve - adding more Shellac or Methylated Spirits to the mixture will enable you to adjust the colour darker or lighter.
