Fiddes Hardwax Oil 2.5 litre blends natural oils and waxes together, creating outstanding toughness and resilience for wooden flooring and other internal woodwork.
Guaranteed not to peel or flake, Fiddes Hardwax Oil can be used on Wooden Flooring, Furniture, Kitchen Worktops and Doors where there can be a high extent of wear. Suitable for application on children's toys.
To clean a Hard Wax oiled finish use Fiddes Surface Cleaner, tough enough to clean but gentle enough not to damage the Hard Wax Oil finish.
Tip: Fiddes Hard Wax Oil Clear will naturally darken the wood it is applied to, a few droplets of water onto the bare wood would indicate the natural colour the oil will bring out.
If the you require the wood to stay as light as possible use Fiddes Hard Wax Oil in Oak Lighting, one or two coats to achieve the desired effect. If one coat is applied the second coat could be Clear.
If you already have a waxed floor that needs further treatment please see either Jenkins Paste Floor Wax or Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax which is a quick drying, easy to apply wax, ideally suited to be used on previously treated floors to preserve and improve the existing sheen.
Also available: 5ml sample, 250ml and 1 litre.

Fiddes Hardwax Oil produces a quick drying, natural satin water resistant finish. All coloured version are a satin finish, it is also available in Clear Matt or Clear Extra Matt.
Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any previous applications. Fill any cracks or holes with a mixture of sanding dust and a floor filler such as Fiddes Joint Filler Gel. Sand the underlying layer with a fine 150 grade sanding paper or 150 grit sanding disc and clear all dust particles.
Application: Fiddes Hardwax Oil is formulated for application directly and does not require thinning.
Ensure the area to be coated has good ventilation whilst applying the oil. Always test on a small area prior to initial application to establish end result. No primer is required and apply two coats.
Always use at room temperature.
First Coat: Apply THINLY using a good quality bristle brush such as Mako Woodcare brush and lay EVENLY, following the direction of the grain. Always stir Hard Wax Oil contents thoroughly before and during use and apply in a warm, well ventilated room.
Remove any surplus Hard Wax Oil immediately with a cloth, carefully checking all areas for any excess application. Leave to dry 4-6 hours in warm, dry well ventilated condition. For best results leave overnight.
