Barrettine Creocote 4 litre is a modern replacement for traditionally used Creosote. Creocote is a highly effect oil based timber treatment for the protection of external timber, penetrating deep into the wood. Ideal for fences, sheds and posts etc.

Also available: 4 x 4 litre Value pack.

Due to an increased health risk, European Legislation came into force on 30th June 2003 and therefore the original Creosote timber treatment is no longer available for sale to members of the public.

Barrettine Creocote is applied exactly the same as the original and has a similar smell which will be familiar to traditional Creosote users.

Available in:

  • Light Brown
  • Dark Brown

Key Benefits:

  • Protects against rot and decay
  • Water repellent - Oil based
  • Easy to apply and ready to use
  • Economical in use

Application: Apply with an exterior woodcare brush, the Goizper Industrial Sprayers, or dip. Clean equipment with White Spirit. For best results apply 2 coats.

Coverage: 6-8 SqMtrs - 1 litre per coat

Drying Time: 48-72 hours

For an alternative interior or exterior wood treatment please see Barrettine Premier Universal Wood Treatment or Barrettine Premier Wood Preserver for an external timber treatment available in clear or a selection of colours.
