in Perrott’s Brook, Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
The company aims to provide a comprehensive
service for the contemporary and traditional

bandsaw blades, glues, screws through to period
timber, glass and specialist restoration materials.
We also provide a tool sharpening service
for those within our local delivery area.

Briwax
Established 1860 in East London and acquired by the Bollom
group in 1961. The Bollom group hold a royal warrant
Briwax Original and Briwax Toluene Free – Briwax
is a beeswax and carnauba wax blend which gives an instant
natural satin sheen. Briwax also cleans and protects wood,
tiles, metalwork, marble and melamine etc. Briwax is available
in the following colours: Briwax Clear, Briwax Antique
Pine, Briwax Teak, Briwax Old Pine, Briwax Honey, Briwax
Dark Oak, Briwax Jacobean, Briwax Rustic Pine, Briwax
Tudor Oak, Briwax Walnut, Briwax Medium Brown, Briwax

Briwax Spray sheen – a surface shine and spray polish
which is especially effective on hard woods
Briwax Marble Wax – a blend of natural waxes to clean

Briwax Danish Oil will give a low lustre finish on bare
wood. Briwax Danish Oil is moisture resistant.

Furniture Preparation
Fiddes Furniture Reviver - revives original finish of
wood
Fiddes Klendoo Stripper - available in 2 versions - Klendoo
water washable (thicker) or Klendoo spirit washable (red
spot) - will remove most wood finishes.
Woodwork Colouring
Woodstains and Dyes - Fiddes Naphtha Stains (oil based
with a strong colour) for use under shellac finishes.
Not recommended for use under cellulose based finishes.
Fiddes Water Based Stains - for new, untreated wood, particularly
pine, use under all fiddes finishes.
Fiddes Non Grain Raising NGR) Stains (spirit based) -
can be used with cellulose based finishes
Powder Stains - Potassium Permanganate, Vandyke Crystals,
Ferrous Sulphate - these chemically stain timber
Wood Finishing
Beeswax – in bead form to make up beeswax polish
Fiddes Mellow Wax Polish – blended beeswax for use
on sealed wood. Fiddes Mellow Wax Polish is available
in the following colours: Mellow Wax (RH4L), English Oak
(RH4O), Georgian Mahogany (RH4G), Rich Mahogany (RH4M),
Jacobean (RH4B).
Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish (toluene free) – virtually
odour free for use on bare or sealed wood. Fiddes Supreme
