 Rustins Grainfiller - 230g
Rustins Grain Filler is a paste and has to be thinned with white spirit for use. It has a special feature of variable particle size for exact filling, irrespective of the type of wood to which it is applied.

Use Rustins Grain Filler on wood before finishing, to fill pores and prevent sinking of the finish! The natural shade can be thinned with Rustin's Wood Dye so that filling and staining can be carried out in one operation.

Rustins Grain Filler is available in colours Mahogany, Natural, Oak and Teak in size 230 gm.
Preparation: Wood that is to be filled should be cleaned with White Spirit and fine wire wool to ensure that it is free from grease and wax.
Application: Thin with White Spirit to a thin cream consistency and rub hard across the surface of the wood with a piece of coarse cloth. After a short while, remove the surplus filler with a cloth. It is important that no residue is left on the surface, as it would set very hard and could only be removed by sanding.

Drying Time: 5-6 hours
Re-coating Time: Leave 12 hours before rubbing back.
Application Temp: Use in a warm, dry atmosphere, ideally 15- 25 degC

Maintenance: Wipe with damp cloth. Greasy or dirty surfaces should be cleaned with a mild non abrasive liquid detergent. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents. Wax polishes may be used.
Compatibility: Rustins Wood Dyes may be used to thin the filler instead of white spirit, so that staining and filling can be carried out in one operation.

Shelf-life/Storage: The shelf life of the product in an airtight container is indefinite. It is preferable to store the product in a cool place. It is important to replace the lid and ensure an airtight seal.
