Renaissance Wax Polish - 200ml
Renaissance wax is the finest cleaner/polish wax available! Recommended by museums, art galleries and conservators throughout the world, Renaissance wax will gently lift the grime of antiquity and murky deposits of other polishes, leaving surfaces delightful to see and touch. Its transparency allows unlimited applications and polish never stains or discolours.
Renaissance wax can be used on any solid surface such as wooden furniture, metals, marble, onyx, shell, stone, ivory, plastics and leather.
The hardness of the matured wax coating gives excellent protection against normal spillages, finger marks, etc.
Renaissance wax is manufactured in a special seamless aluminium 200ml container, insuring the wax will remain in perfect condition long after other polishes have hardened and become useless.
Renaissance wax is also used by re-enactors of historic swordsmanship to protect armour and weapons. It is widely recognised that this substance is more protective and longer lasting than oil, especially for swords and helmets that are frequently touched by human hands.
Renaissance Wax is also commonly used is the preservation of Bronze and Copper coins. The wax seals the coins and helps prevent deterioration from moisture and air exposure. It may also help prevent the onset of the chloride-related corrosion commonly called bronze disease, although it won't arrest this once started.
Application
: Renaissance wax is evenly and lightly applied over the surface, then lightly buffed with a smooth lint-free cloth to give a sheen. Where the shape of the item requires, a brush may be used instead.
