Mirka Polarshine Black Dot Foam Pads are recommended for achieving a high gloss finish and hologram removal, when used with Mirka Polarshine T10 and F05 Polishing Compounds.

Mirka Polarshine Black Dot Foam Pads are soft density, have an easy grip hook and eye type fastening and are designed to work with most polishing systems. Mirka Black Dot foam pads will bring out and enhance the shine, even on the most difficult dark colours!

Mirka Black Dot foam pads can also be used with the Mirka Polarshine UF3 Polishing Compound, containing carnauba wax to protect your high gloss finish.

o Suitable for most polishing systems including Mirka's PS1524 Polisher.
o Water Washable
o Available in 6" 150mm
o Ideal for use with Mirka T10, F05 and UF3 Polarshine Polishing Compound

Directions for use:
  • Select the correct Polishing Compound and backing pad for the job
  • Spread a small amount of the compound onto the surface of the pad
  • Use a polishing speed between 1500 - 2500rpm for best results
  • Let the polishing compound and weight of the sander/buffer do the work
  • Keep the sander/buffer moving to avoid over heating
  • A mist of water can be used to lubricate and keep the polishing process cooler
  • Keep the backing pad clean as any dust or dirt can easily produce scratches
  • Wash regularly with water to extend the life of the Black Dot foam pad
  • Do not polish in direct sunlight

For slightly more aggressive polishing use the medium density Mirka Orange Dot 150mm foam pad.
