Liberon Spirit Wood Dye

 Liberon Spirit Wood Dye
Liberon Spirit Wood Dye is a traditional dye which penetrates deep into the wood and can be mixed together to obtain intermediate shades. Liberon Spirit Wood Dye is recommended for use on hardwood and furniture restoration. Ideal for colouring mahogany and oak, easy to apply especially on previously finished woods.

Preparation: Ensure the surface is free from existing finishes, wax, oil or grease. Sand thoroughly to a smooth finish and remove the dust.

Application: Shake well before use. Apply liberally with a brush or clean cotton cloth, remove excess dye immediately with a clean cotton cloth, working with the grain wherever possible. For stronger colour apply a second coat after 4
hours.

When dry, it may be finished with French polish, water-based varnish or lacquer. Make sure you have sufficient dye to finish the work. If more than one tin is required, mix the contents together in a clean container
to ensure uniform colour.

Please note, always test product on a spare or inconspicuous area for compatibility and end result. The colour bar may not be a true representation of the actual colour.

Precautions: Caution must be taken when using oil based finishes over Liberon Spirit Wood Dye. Keep brush strokes to a minimum as over brushing may lift out the colour.

Liberon Spirit Wood Dye is available in Tudor Oak, Ebony, Light Oak, Golden Pine, Antique Pine, Walnut, Teak, Yew, Medium Oak, Dark Oak, Georgian Mahogany and Victorian Mahogany.

Liberon Spirit Wood Dye is available in 250ml, 1Ltr and 5Ltr containers.
