Rest Express Liberon Pre-Varnish  Customer Feedback Liberon Pre-varnish for Wood Floors - 2.5 litre Recommended for use on Oak, Pine and most wood floors, Liberon Pre-varnish will help give a long lasting, quality finish! Liberon Pre-varnish is also ideal for use on sanded wooden floors as it reduces the darkening of the wood and helps prevent tannins rising, allowing the original beauty of the wood to stay when it is varnished. Suitable for use with Liberon High Resistance Floor Varnish, Liberon Pre-varnish reinforces the durability of the varnish and aids application. Liberon Pre-varnish for Wooden Floors provides a water resistant coating and is endorsed by the Guild of Master Craftsmen. Preparation: Ensure that the surface is clean and dry. De-wax if required, sand and remove dust as required. Application: Shake / stir well before use. The product has a milky appearance which disappears after application. Apply one coat of Pre-varnish evenly using a brush or roller. Allow to dry for a minimum of 1 hour, lightly sanding the surface with a fine sand paper before applying a finish of varnish. Precautions: For use with solvent varnish only. Do not use with oil finishes. Liberon Advice: After sanding and cleaning the floor wipe over with a damp cloth to remove any remaining sawdust. Ideal application conditions are between 12 and 25 °C. Liberon Pre-varnish is available in 750 ml, 2.5 L containers.
