Liberon Knotting Pale

Liberon Knotting Pale - 125ml

Liberon Knotting Pale

For prevention of seepage from knots in resinous woods, especially softwoods, prior to painting, use Liberon Knotting, which also helps to reduce the discolouration of paint finishes.
Liberon Knotting can be used with clear varnish finishes as it is very pale in colour.

Preparation
Ensure the surface is bare; remove any wax finishes with Liberon Wax and Polish Remover and any varnish/paint finishes with Liberon Fine Wood Stripper. If the wood is to be dyed or stained, this must be completed prior to the application of Liberon Knotting.

Application
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust. Apply one coat only of Knotting directly onto the knots. Liberon Knotting will be touch dry in 15 minutes but leave to dry for a further 2 hours before applying any finishes.

Please note, Liberon Knotting is not recommended for oiled or waxed surfaces. Always test product on a spare surface or inconspicuous area to check colour, compatibility and end results.
Clean brushes in Methylated spirit.
