Jenkins Joint Filler Gel

Jenkins Joint Filler Gel is a nitrocellulose based joint filler, designed to be mixed with sawdust to produce a filler for joints up to 5mm wide.
By using Jenkins Joint Filler Gel and the sawdust from the floor itself, the joints and repairs will closely match the original colour of the floor. It is an excellent filler for use under Jenkins Paste Floor Wax, Fiddes Hardwax Oil and many other floor finishes.

Preparation: The surface must be clean, dry and free of any contamination. Give any new or existing floor a final sand with P50-P80 grit abrasive and keep the dust for adding to the Joint Filler.

Application: Jenkins Joint Filler gel should be mixed with the sawdust from the last sanding into a smooth paste. Apply using a trowel or spatula, ensuring the joint is fully filled and leave to dry between 30-60 minutes, depending on the area filled. Build up layers to fill deeper gaps and do not let the room temperature fall below 15 DegC when using Jenkins Joint Filler.

Mixing ratio: Mix approximately equal amounts of both Joint Filler and sawdust.
