 Fiddes Liming Wax
Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax is almost a white clear wax producing a light "Limed finish", created to offer a white shade to stained or bare wood usually associated with period oak furniture. Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax is ideal for hard and soft woods wihich have the characteristic of a good grain pattern.

When applied, Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax fills the open wood pores, giving complementary white tones and emphasizing the grain over the whole surface area.

Recommended usage Fine furniture, floors, doors, cabinet work and panelling.

Preparation Prior to application of Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax ensure all blemishes and glue residue is removed. Lightly sand the wood with a medium grade abrasive (P180/P240) in the direction of the grain wherever possible.

With a Liberon Bronze Liming Brush brush hard to open the pores and accentuate the grain pattern.

Application Apply Fiddes Supreme Liming Wax generously with a lint free cotton cloth or 0000 steel wool, into the grain, working with a circular motion. When the surface is completely covered, gently rub across the grain, ensuring the liming wax remains in the open pores.

Leave for approximately 5-10 minutes and buff in the direction of the grain with a cotton cloth.
To enhance the sheen level and protection, it is recommended to finish with a coat of Clear Supreme Wax Polish.
