Fiddes Protex

Fiddes Protex - 400ml

To increase the durability of Fiddes Supreme and Mellow Wax, use Fiddes Protex, manufactured from a combination of transparent resins.

Fiddes Protex is recommended for use on surface areas which have previously been waxed, but require extra resistance.

When dry, Fiddes Protex retains the long established Supreme Wax sheen, at the same time provides a long lasting protection for your wood.

Preparation
Sand surface in stages with a medium sandpaper (120 grit), moving on to a medium/fine grade (180-220 grit). Endeavour to sand in the direction of the grain pattern when possible and ensure the removal of any blemishes and glue residue prior to application of Fiddes Supreme Wax. Make sure all sanding dust is removed and always test Fiddes Protex on a discreet area to establish finished result.

Application
Use a clean, cotton cloth and apply lightly Fiddes Protex in the direction of the wood grain where ever possible. To obtain an equal coverage, always wipe evenly and remove any excess of Fiddes Protex immediately with a separate, clean absorbent cloth, following the direction of the grain pattern.

o Apply Fiddes Protex sparingly with a clean cotton cloth
o 2 hours drying time at room temperature
o Coverage 16 sqm per Litre
o 1 coat required
o Use on fine furniture and cabinet work
o Available in 400ml
