Fiddes Pine Water Based Stain

 Fiddes Pine Water Based Stain
For an antique, aged appearance on new or old pine furniture, use Fiddes Pine Water Stains.
Really easy to use, Fiddes Pine Water Stains are comprehensively used within the Antique Pine and Pine reproduction markets to obtain an even colour, prior to an application of Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish.

Preparation
Always sand wooden surface in stages in the direction of the grain pattern, using a medium sandpaper (120 grit), progressing to a medium/fine grade (180-220 grit). Ensure removal of any blemishes and glue residue prior to the application of Fiddes Pine Water Stains. All sanding dust must be removed and always test Fiddes Pine Water Stains on a discreet area to establish finished result.

Stir contents well and check shade before application.

Application
Use a clean, lint free, cotton cloth or sponge and apply Fiddes Pine Water Stains in the direction of the wood grain. Remove any excess stain immediately with a separate clean absorbent cloth in the direction of the grain pattern. Exert a degree of pressure when applying Fiddes Pine Water stains by hand, blending the stain over the whole area to be covered. Leave to dry and do not sand between applications.

o To apply use a cloth, brush, sponge, spray or dip
o Drying time 1 hour at room temperature
o Coverage 16 sqm per Litre
o 1 coat - more will deepen colour/shade
o Thinners: Water
o Recommended for use on Fine furniture, doors, floors, cabinet work and panelling
o Available in: 1 litre (2 litre and 5 litre available on request - please contact us)
