Fiddes NGR Stain

 Fiddes NGR Stain
For exceptional depth of colour on all interior wood surfaces use Fiddes NGR (Non Grain Raising) spirit based wood dye! Fiddes NGR Wood Dyes can be mixed with Fiddes range of Shellac Polish or Cellulose Lacquers to give further colour between coats. Fiddes NGR Spirit Dyes are quick drying and easy to use.

Preparation
Sand the wooden surface in stages using a medium sandpaper (120 grit), through to a medium/fine sandpaper (180-220 grit). Always sand in the direction of the grain, ensuring the removal of any blemishes and glue residue prior to the application of Fiddes NGR Wood Dyes.
Make sure all sanding dust is removed and always test Fiddes NGR on a discreet area to establish finished result.

Stir contents well and ensure shade is correct before application.

Application
Use a clean, lint free cotton cloth or sponge and apply in the direction of the wood grain. Remove any excess stain immediately with a separate cloth. To obtain an even colour, blend the stain over the whole area by exerting a degree of pressure when applying by hand. Leave to dry and do not sand between coats.

o Apply with cloth, brush, sponge, spray
o Drying time approx. 30/40 minutes at room temperature
o Coverage 16 sq.m per Litre
o 1 coat
o Thin with Fiddes NGR Thinners or Methylated Spirit
o Recommended for use on fine furniture, doors, floors, cabinet work and panelling
o Available in 1 litre containers

Fiddes NGR (Non Grain Raising) Spirit Dyes are available in:

Rich Mahogany, Brown Mahogany, Light Oak, Medium Oak, Dark Oak, Golden Oak, Jacobean oak, Walnut, Teak, Period Pine, Sapele, Stripped Pine and Fruit Wood
