Fiddes High Build Exterior Wood Oil

 Fiddes High Build Exterior Wood Oil
For all external joinery and woodwork, Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil, gives outstanding durability and resistance. Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil is a blend of natural oils and resins, creating a transparent satin finish.

Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil contains UV filters to prevent discolouration from the sun. Guaranteed not to peel or flake, with a finish that is water repellant and weather resistant!

Preparation: Before applying Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil, ensure surface is clean, dry and free from any prior finish. Any fungal growth, moss or dirt on old wood must be removed and a preservative must be applied.

Sand the surface with medium (120g) sand paper or disc and remove all traces of dust.

Application: Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil is formulated for direct application and does not require thinning. Apply in dry conditions and a minimum of three coats is recommended. Test a small area of wood before applying.

First coat: Apply with a quality brush like the Mako Woodcare Brush evenly and thoroughly. Always stir contents before and during use. Follow the direction of the grain, leaving to dry for 4-6 hours in a warm, dry, well ventilated area. Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil would benefit from being left overnight, before the second application. Sand lightly with a fine (320g) sand paper.

Second coat: Application as above, leaving to dry for approximately 4-6 hours, or overnight.

Third coat: As first application.

Precautions:
o Test prior to use on a small area
o Timber must be dry and treated with preservative
o Minimum three coats
o Drying time will vary depending on cold, damp or humid conditions
o All areas must be coated thoroughly to seal
o To maintain a previous application of Fiddes Exterior High Build Wood Oil, lightly sand area with 150g sand paper and re-apply
