New Cuprinol Decking Oil and Protector

Cuprinol Decking Oil and Protector is a new water based decking treatment designed to protect and enhance your decking by penetrating deep into the timber replacing natural oils, whilst the coloured versions will revive tired and weathered decking with new even colour.

Product use: Cuprinol Decking Oil and Protector protects and brings out the natural beauty of most types of timber decking, including hardwood decking. It will enhance and revive the colour to old or new decking and can also be used on many other external wood products.

Preparation: Always ensure the decking surface is clean, dry and free from any previous coating, algae or mould. After brushing and removing debris, use Cuprinol Decking Cleaner to thoroughly clean the timber. Rinse well and allow to dry 24 hours before recoating.
If the decking is very grey, use Cuprinol's unique Decking Restorer after cleaning to transform weathered grey/silver decking back to its original colour prior to finishing with Decking Oil and Protector.

Application: Stir the can well before and frequently during use. Apply an even coat with a Mako Woodcare Brush or Cuprinol Sprayer. Allow to penetrate and soak in for 4 - 6 hours before applying a second coat if required, and allow to dry for 24-48 hours before using the decking. Wipe any excess Decking Oil that hasn't soaked in off the surface with a lint free cloth before drying.

Cleaning and Maintenance: To keep your decking looking good, it is recommended to apply one or two coats of Cuprinol Decking Oil and Protector once a year after cleaning with Cuprinol Decking Cleaner. Clean brush with Water.
